About me

I am an avid reader, a writer, and a wannabe artist. I am a passionate progressive democrat. I am a member of ONE, Avaaz, Free Press, Trinity Episcopal Church St. Louis, and other Episcopalian organizations that are concerned with social justice. I am, at 62, a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother-to-be (but I’m still trying to get used to being in my 60s). I am a supporter of my neighborhood’s independent bookstore: Left Bank Books. I am an environmentalist, living as “green” as I can. I love music of any genre, especially R&B, jazz, and opera. I like to go to movies, and I enjoy watching old movies on TV. And, oh yeah, I love good food, fine wines, and my great friends!
